Back in the 60s (my undergraduate years), I was part of a team that did light shows, sound systems, stages for rock concerts. We had an arts festival at VCU and John Cage was a performer and panelist. We got roaring drunk together and argued all night. What a great experience that was.

I don't know why I telling you this except you are at CUNY and a media geek of some stature. You made me think of the heady days of my youth. Thanks.
