Welcome to TCFIR, Dr. Gardner! I'm looking forward to learning from you here in the forums. As a classroom teacher I so appreciated your work in multiple intelligences. It informed my teaching and I used direct instruction to teach it to my 8th graders. Light bulbs came on all over the room as my at-risk kids began to believe that they were smart after all. They also began to accept each other's differences a little more--someone drumming on the desk or humming really wasn't so annoying when we understood that this was how they showed they were listening and learning. Thank you!
