Family has to come first. I hope everyone's OK, and that you'll all be up to speed very soon. Please don't feel pressured to contribute here--wait until it seem more like fun than work, OK?

I took a little time to review your titles and honestly I think you have wealth of material that people here would find interesting. Our members include scientists, sociologists, anthropologists, etc. and some of your articles would really give them something to think about and contribute to. Could I offer some suggestions?
First, "Hair and Chaos" because it sounds like a typical day in my world. :)
But also:
Anything about the Cybermind project
Internet Politics in an Information Economy
Cyborg Governance
IT, Disruption, and Disorder
any of the reviews--you could link to the article and discuss with people here.
A solution for topics that seem outdated might be to post them and ask others how things have changed (or not) since the publication date.
And if all else fails, I hope you'll stop and visit our newest discussion: Can you be smart and still be happy? it's actually for jokes and fun stuff since we tend to be serious in here.
Talk to you soon!

But I think having articles and discussions that are interesting to people in other sectors would bring more of our scientists, sociologists, and business people out of hiding and give us all a more comprehensive picture of how the internet is impacting every area of life and culture, not just education.
I've just finished up a Master of Distance Ed, which required a lot of reading. Right now I'd welcome something NOT related to education. :)
I saw your blog--your books and papers. It's really impressive, and I saw a few that the group might find interesting, and that seem from the titles to span the disciplines that are represented here. Would you be interested in linking to one of your favorites so that we can read and discuss it?
Best regards,
Marla
